Apr 1957 Freshman Frolic

Here are the photos of the “Freshman Frolic,” the dance given for the Class of 1960’s 9^th Grade, held in April 1957 at the College Park Auditorium, provided by Dan Bruce, Class of 1960.

Don also notes that everyone was wearing socks, since the coaches didn’t want the basketball court scratched up with shoes (this was before the school’s gym was built, and that’s how the name “Sock Hop” was coined).
