Barbara (DuRant) Allen, Class of 1946, passed away in 1972 after a 2-3 year battle against throat cancer.  She and her husband, who was a pilot for then Southern Airways, and their two sons lived in College Park, GA.  Barbara's mother Clara DuRant taught piano in College Park for many years, and many from CPHS were her students.
