McDOWELL, Jean Jean Elizabeth McDowell, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, of Suwanee, GA, passed away March 2nd, 2013. Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Sutherland. She is survived by her husband of 50 years John McDowell of Suwanee, GA; daughter and son in-law, Stacy and Anthony Swaim of Suwanee, GA; daughter and son in-law, Elicia and Richard Miller of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Swaim, Chandler Swaim, Jesse Burgess, Kristi Sturkil, Cameron Miller, and Tommy Myall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, Norcross, GA; the family will receive friends from 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Tuesday, March 5th, at the funeral home.
