Patsy Abercrombie (Kisling) (1963)

Jerry graduated in 1957 with my older sister, Betty Jo Abercrombie.  He ran around with her and Shirley Jones, Pat Hanes, Gail Scott from '56, and several others.  Jerry had a great sense of humor, loved music, and loved to dance.  One Saturday night when he and a friend came home on leave, they wanted to go to The Pines to dance.  Gail was going and couldn't find anyone their age to go with them and she tracked me down at Jill Flowers house.  She knew If their was music playing I would be dancing.  I was all of 16 yrs. old.  I was worried about getting in, but Gail and Jerry assured me they could get me in,.  They did and I had so much fun.  Jerry's friend was also a good dancer.  I really felt "special" that night.

Jerry never treated me like "a pain in the neck little sister" even when I was younger and I hung around with their group.  He was a sweet guy.

Walter W. Brown (1956)

Little Miss Abercrombie, you are bringing back some good memories.  I went to school with all those you mentioned in your article concerning Jerry Andrews.  Pat Haines, Sherley Jones, Gail Scott and yhour sister Nancy.  I also loved dancing, and singing in Ms Barrons class.  I especially enjoyed the after football games dances.  I visited Notty Pines many times.  I watched and listened to Piano Red there.  Acted a fool there and drank to much there.  My younger brother went there more than I did, Mike Brown.  I'm sure you remember Mike Brown and ou may remember me.
Wayne Brown.   Good to know you are alive and I hope you are doing well.  Where is Nancy?  Drop me a line please and let me know.My Best and God Bless.  Wayne Brown   (wwbrown@windstream.net)
