Charles Watson Ivester, age 82, of Cary, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Charles is survived by his wife, of almost 60 years: Euzella Ivester; three children: Todd (Vanessa), Tracy (Scott); grandchildren: Zackary, Justin, Elle, Sean, Amanda; great-grandchildren: Eli and Ezra; by one brother: Gary. He was predeceased by a son, Hal and two brothers, Guy and Greg.

Mr. Ivester worked with Eastern Airlines and went on to work at N.C. Department of Transportation facilities where he retired. His hobbies included teaching clogging and traveling with his teammates, Charlies Angels and the Cary Good Time Cloggers. He also enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and traveling with his family. He held a special place in his heart for his now 15-year-old chihuahua, Liberty.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice in Cary for their tremendous help.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC, with memorial services to begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
