JULY 18, 1940 ~ AUGUST 23, 2019

Gary Travis Stockton, 79, businessman, pilot, jokester, frequent traveler, avid Atlanta Falcons fan, singer, and former Army veteran passed away early in the morning August 23, 2019. Gary was a self-taught computer systems analysts and programming pioneer in the early 80’s. In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing guitar, and singing country music. He was invited to have guest appearances with legends such as Ernie Ashworth, George Morgan, and Mel Tillis. He once let Marty Robbins play his guitar on the Ralph Emery show in Nashville. A proud moment for him!

     He is survived by Charlotte Stockton, his wife for over 50 years, three daughters, Laura Stacks of Anniston, AL, Julie Justice and her husband Chris, Amanda Beach, and son Greg Stockton and wife Katie, all of Little Rock, AR. 3 siblings, Charles Stockton, Jr. and wife Bobbie, Don Stockton, and Carol Mannon. Gary had 10 grandchildren: Farrah Jane DeBolt, Nicholas Brasili, Lauren Beach, Owen Brasili, Trace Justice, AnnE. Beach, Lauren Amos, Greyson Stockton, Shae Justice, and Landon Stockton. He will be missed by numerous other family and friends.

Charles Ivester (1958)

Sorry to hear of Gary's passing.  He was a great classmate.My sincere condolences to all the family.
