Lamar Eugene (Gene) Morgan, 77 of Stockbridge, Georgia left this world on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Gene was a man of many talents. He worked for nearly every grocery chain in the greater Atlanta area. He worked for American Can Company before moving to ConAir Manufacturing. His final job was a parts chaser at Snapper Power Equipment in McDonough. Gene was a member of Community Bible Church in Stockbridge until his COPD prohibited his attending. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Linda Womack Morgan; his children, Tommie Morgan Black (Allen), J. Daniel Morgan; grand children, Megan Burns (Kayla), Brandon Burns, J. Patrick Morgan, Callie Morgan Bailey (Brandon); great grandsons, Pierce L. Bulgrien, T. Grant Morgan and Greyson Kyle Burns. He has 4 living brothers and 1 sister. Gene loved sports. He coached Little League Baseball and Ladies Softball. He loved to play golf and fish. A Celebration of Gene's Life will be held from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12th at the Atrium of Community Bible Church, 2001 Jodeco Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
