John and I went all the way through school together - Longino 1st grade through 12th grade CPHS. When we were in high school we worked summers at the pool. He was quiet, but always up for a good practical joke. I especially remember the coke man getting drenched with the water from the cooler in the concession stands at the pool. The water was meant for Cam Prichett, but being the gentleman Cam was, he stepped aside and let the coke man enter the concession stand first. The coke man never saw it coming, but he was suddenly drenched. The culprits, John and Tommy Shaw, apologized profusely. The coke man was a good sport. John was lost to us way too young. RIP John.
