GRIZZARD, Phillip, 67, of College Park, died on August 17, 2016. Phillip proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Air Force. He retired from the Atlanta Journal Constitution after 41 years of dedicated employment. Phillip was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Big Buck Hunting Club. He was a die-hard Alabama Fan, Roll Tide Phillip is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Leone Grizzard, son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Jennifer Grizzard, daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Robert Brittian, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Johnny Greer, brother-in-law, Steve Adamson, his granddaughters, Grace and Sophia Brittian, and cousins, nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Friday, August 19 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, 736 South Central Avenue, Hapeville, Georgia 30354. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 3:00 in the chapel with Reverend Johnny Greer and Minister Jane Gunter officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.
