Robert Michael Morris of Naples, Fla., lost his long battle with cancer Thursday, April 10, 2014. 

Michael is survived by his daughter, Paige Morris Grantham, her husband, Daniel Grantham, and three grandsons, Tylar, 19, Trey, 17, and Tanner, 12; two brothers, Fred E. Morris and Edward J. Morris; one sister, Barbara Morris Hoyt as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He is pre-deceased by his father, Willard V. Morris, Sr., his mother, Effie Mae Morris, three brothers, Willard V. Morris Jr., William M. Morris and James R. Morris.

Prior to moving to Naples, Michael resided in Panama City Beach, Fla., where he faithfully served The Lord for many years at Faith Family Christian Church until his health began to decline in 2010.

Michael was of great inspiration to those who knew him and was always willing to help others wherever possible. Michael will be remembered by his big beautiful smile, his generous heart, mastery of cooking on his grill and smoker; mostly for others and most importantly, his love for the Lord. Michael will be truly missed by all his family members and his many friends.
