Greg was my first "black" friend. His mother was a school teacher at S.R. Young Elementary and Greg was my classmate. He and I were good friends. I could talk to him about anything. I wish he were still with us. Tommy
Like Tommy, Greg was a good friend from SR Young through high school. He was the first and only "black" kid at SR Young that I remember, but that didn't matter he was lots of fun to hang out with and even went on our senior trip to Florida. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
I had forgotten that he was SR Young's first black student. I liked him as well as his mom. It must have been hard back then when ideas were so primitive.
