Obituary for Freddie Mitchell Boyt

Mr. Freddie Mitchell Boyt, age 65, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, January 27, 2014. He was born May 24, 1948 in Monroe, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Reginald Boyt and the late Mrs. Helen Smith Boyt. 

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Loan Officer and Realtor in Douglas County and was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Douglasville. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly Parker Boyt of Carrollton; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Julie Boyt of Douglasville and Matthew Boyt of Athens; one granddaughter, Ruby Anastasia Boyt. 

The family received friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, January 31, 2014. 
Funeral Services were conducted Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny League officiating. Following the service his body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association
