He graduated from Auburn University , BS-Agricultural Engineering, operated a diversified farm near Red Oak and Fairburn, Ga. on White Road. Raised five children with Vera. He was an accomplished pilot of a private plane. Retired with Vera to the vicinity of Luthersville , Ga.
