FRISTOE, Kenneth Marston, (Ken), 77 of Flowery Branch, GA, died Sunday, June 9, 2013. Born in Hanford, California, January 29, 1936, to Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth William and Mary McFadden Fristoe, Ken earned his BS in Civil Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in 1959, served his country in the United States Army, 1960, retired after more than 30 years serving as Facilities Engineer with Delta Airlines in 1993, was an avid sailor, an award winning ballroom dancer and remained a pillar in his church until his death. Mr. FRISTOE is survived by his children, Sue Hilburn and son-in-law David Hilburn, Lisa McCullough, Ann Stewart and son-in-law Bill Stewart, and Skip Fristoe and daughter-in-law Susie Fristoe, his six grandchildren: Wilder McCullough, Katharine Hilburn, Caroline Hilburn, Charles Lane Fristoe, Calyer Stewart and Fairleigh Stewart, and his very dear friend, Edie Betsill. Memorial service will be held at First Redeemer Church, 2100 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041, Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00. Raymond Prestage (1953)

Ken was a part of that strong line that pushed our opponents to their goal line as we (our line) moved them away from our backs so they scored. Like Bunky Jones I as canter could depend on him as we many times cross blocked when we faced a five man line. That was what we were, all for one and one for all.
