Mrs. Wanda Benefield Alexander, age 72, of Stockbridge, GA passed away March 15, 2010. Mrs. Alexander was born in Alabama the daughter of the late Evelyn Hornsby and Ester V. Benefield. Mrs. Alexander was a devoted loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and playing cards. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tony Benefield. Survivors are her children, Ronnie and Doug Bratten of Stockbridge, Degi and Mark Winstead of Douglasville, and Kirby and Teresa Alexander of Hiram; grandchildren, Todd and Kanella Brown, Devan, Ethan, and Madison Winstead; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Alexander will be Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Louie Winstead officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Forest Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7-9:00pm.
