The following was received from Tom Miller, Kay's brother.

The Miller family moved from Memphis to College Park in the summer of 1953 after Chicago & Southern Airlines merged with Delta. Kay Miller spent her junior and senior years at CPHS. Hankering to return to Tennessee, she went to UT after CPHS and spent her life in Knoxville. Here is her obituary.

Kay Miller Amick, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024. She was 86 years old Kay was a longtime resident of Knoxville, working the majority of her career at the Cerebral Palsy Center. Kay was an avid Tennessee’s Volunteers fan and a devoted Lady Vols fan. Kay will be deeply missed by her children Carol and Mark (Cathy); her grandchildren Nicole (Kyle) and Cory (Carter); her beloved great granddaughters Chloe and Emma Claire; and her brothers Tom, Bob (Mary Helen), Phil and Jim (Mary); and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
