Jere Armstrong Munn, 80, passed away Thursday March 16, 2017. He was very proud to be a U.S. veteran of the Korean War and he was also a member of the NASA Apollo Program. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Effie Munn; his wife, Joyce Coppenger Munn; brothers, Freddie and Earl Munn; sister, Julia Munn. Mr. Munn is survived by his sons, Patrick (Charlene) Munn and Randy (Mandi) Munn; grandchildren, Hayley, Caitlin, Madison, Christian, Caden Munn, Ashley, Jacon Daniel, and Mo-Shari. A graveside service will be conducted from the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors Monday, March 20, 2017, at 9 a.m. CST. Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home LLC, Jasper, Tenn., 37347.

Noel Starr Smith (1955)
It was good seeing Jere at that last reunion. It was his first reunion attendance and sadly, his last. He appeared to be in robust good health, with not a hint of death close on. I tried to get up an email exchange with him, but I never received a response. I hope he had a good life.
