Erwin rented a room in my family home briefly after his family moved to Red Bank. We would drive there often and spend a couple of days.
One night when Erwin had started working at Owens Illinios and I at Southern Railway, he woke me saying "Sleep's for sick people. Let's go to Florida!" OI had a fishing weekend at Carrabelle. We drove down in the middle of the night in my 56 VW and proceeded to have a good time.

Erwin was my cousin. His father and my grandfather were brothers.
Erwin died September 16, 2005.

My parent had a golden wedding anniversary in 1979 at the home on Walker Ave. We were so glad that Erwin attended. That was my last contact with him.
