Robert "Bob" D. Harike Obituary
Robert D. Harike, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on September 1, 1940, in Copperhill, Tennessee, he was the youngest of two children of the late George and Edith Harike.
Bob, as he was affectionately known, was a cherished family man whose loved ones meant the world to him. He enjoyed peaceful walks by the river and could often be found reading a good book. Known for his kindness, patience, and gentle spirit, Robert was generous and loving—especially cherishing the time he spent with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kerry Michelle Harike-Joedecke; and his brother, Ede Harike. He is survived by his sons, Robert “Scott” Harike (Donnetta) and Kevin Harike (Sunny Rae); his grandchildren, Donovan, Lynlee, Liam and Rigsby; his longtime companion, Joy Johnson; his nephew, George Harike (April); and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family throughout the local area, as well as in Cincinnati, Ohio, Columbus, Georgia and even in Great Britian.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm-8 pm on Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Sosebee Funeral Home located at 191 Jarvis Street in Canton, GA 30114.
