David L. Brown (1959)

David was a good buddy and fellow CPHS band member.  I enjoyed staying with David's family for three years while I was attending GA Tech and my parents were living in Indiana after GM transferred my father there.  We had good times together and I will miss him.

I am sad to learn of David's passing. We had some good times together while at CPHS. I particulary remember the two of us shooting fireworks in my backyard, playing sand-lot football together and going to the College Park pool together. I'll never forget the splash he made as he jumped into the pool wearing a diving mask and flippers on his feet. I really appreciated his asking me to be a groomsman at his wedding to Darlene. After I went over to Athens for college, followed by the Navy and moving twice out of state, we didn't manage to stay in touch but I truly am sorry to learn of his loss.
