Harriet Dew Collins

Harriet Dew Collins, 79, of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. Born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, on July 25, 1945, Harriet dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a nurse for 35 years—a profession she truly loved.

Harriet is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Collins; her stepson, Don W. Collins; her stepdaughter, Kelly Collins; and her cherished granddaughters, Kate Collins, Augustina Collins, Emma Bedingfield, Ellanor Collins, and Lauren Collins. She will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her family, and the compassion she showed to everyone she met.

Harriet’s ashes will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery. In honor of her lifelong commitment to helping others, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
