Annette Lord (Blackstone)

I don't think the word is out, but Annette Lord Blackstone, Buster Blackstone's wife, passed away in August after a very long illness.  She, Buster and I were friends in school and had recently reconnected on the Internet through email.  They have two grown daughters, at least one of whom is married.  I am not certain about the other one.

Obituary

 

Mrs. Carol Annette Blackstone, age 66 of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Spalding Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Blackstone was born September 19, 1945 to the late Neal H. Lord and the late Winifred Hoskins Lord. She was a large supporter of St. Judes Childrens Hospital and was a loving wife and mother.  Survivors include her husband, James E. Blackstone daughters & sons-in-law, Boni Blackstone & Joe Pedicino and Buffie Blackstone & Martin Lawson.
 
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.  Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd. was in charge of arrangements.
