Mr. Larry East, Sr. of Fairburn died January 21, 2004. Mr. East graduated from College Park High School in 1965 and was retired from Delta Air Lines after 36 years of service. He was presently employed with the F.A.A. in Atlanta and was a member of South Crest Church in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Buford Thaxton East and is survived by wife, Becky East, Fairburn; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry East, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Waynesville, NC; Jonathan East and wife, Theresa, Knoxville, TN; father, John D. East and wife, Lois, Mableton; brother, Leo East and wife, Linda, Stockbridge; grandson, Aidan Lee East; brother-in-law, Robert Hendren and wife, Shirley, Andersonville, TN; sister-in-law, Andrea Hendren, Heiskell, TN; Funeral services were held Friday, January 23, 2004, at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Chandler and Rev. Todd Burnett officiated. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
