Donald Lamar Cobb, 71, of Hapeville, died Monday, March 07, 2022. Don was a U.S. Army Veteran, a local Attorney, a member of the Georgia Bar Association, and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He was a servant leader, an avid sports fan, he loved his family and friends, was a storyteller, and always the jokester, who loved to make people laugh. Becoming a grandfather was one of his greatest joys! He was preceded in death by his parents, Sim and Annie Robertson Cobb, and siblings, Grace, James, Joyce, Ruby, Marie, and Benny. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Carol Upchurch Cobb; children, Jeff Cobb, Laura Lovell, and Jennifer Earnest; grandchildren, Charlie, Richard, and Paula Jean Lovell; sisters and brother in law, Jean Brotherton, and Lynn & John Fuselier. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12th in our chapel, with Reverend Josh McDaniel officiating.
