John "Lee" Gaskins

Lee Gaskins, 71, of Duluth died on Sunday, the 8th of May, 2022.

A man of strong faith, Lee was a native Atlantan.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Lorie Gaskins; sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Sarah Gaskins, Andrew and SuJi Gaskins; granddaughters, Eliana and Joanna Gaskins; mother, Neoma Gaskins; aunt, Earnestine Stuart; and numerous cousins and extended family.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, the 12th of May, 2022 at eleven o’clock at Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes and Crematory, 5051 Peachtree Ind. Blvd., Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries, 500 Pinnacle Ct, Norcross, GA 30071, www.ourncm.org.

Gary Holtzclaw (1968)

we lost a   friend and classmate  i am so glad and thankful that we had a chance to talk with each other at our 50th reunion and remember some great times  we are just not here long enough  i am remided of the day after graduation Kieth Hollon, Eddie Howard, Lee And myself took a celebration trip to daytona beach , florida  we had a great time  rest my brother  we will see ya again Good Lord willing.

Dan Morrow (1968)

Lee was my friend. So few left. I miss them all.

Does anyone remember the band he formed .

Many of my fondest memories of growing up in College Park revolve around Lee- especially our days in our basement band. Play on my friend.

David O'Neal (1968)

Lee wa at the CPHS Luncheon last month. He was in great spirits , Lee was a friend from Childhood Through Highschool Class of 1968 College Park Highschool.Itwas Great to Breeak bread with him and others and be able reminis old timesMay he rest in Peace.
