Sara Kathryn Noland, age 65 of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday January 14, 2016 at her residence.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Smith-Steel-Meadows Funeral Home in Woodbury. Graveside services will immediately follow at Jones Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bill Lawrence officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Dees, Ricky Dees, Morris Noland, John Findley, and Luther Hyatt.
Ms. Noland was born January 2, 1951 in Fulton County, the daughter of Wiley Mitchell Noland and Carolyn Virginia Noland. She is a graduate of College Park High School. She worked for Georgia Power as an Accountant for over 20 years. She was a member of Jones Chapel and loved to travel.
Survivors include her brother Terry Noland (Diane) and nephew Scott Noland, all of Woodbury; niece Jennifer Koluch (Larry) and a great niece Haile Noland, all of Livonia, Michigan.

So sad to learn of Kathy's passing. I lived across the street from her for awhile when we were children. Then our paths crossed again in high school. She was always kind and friendly to me. My deepest condolences to the family and all who knew and loved her.
