Sara "Sally" Bazemore Kent, born June 6, 1952, passed away peacefully January 15, 2016, at the Sherman Home surrounded by her loving family. Sally grew up in College Park, GA, and graduated from College Park High School in 1970. She moved to Phoenix, AZ, in 2008 to marry the love of her life. She was a loving mother, compassionate soul and hard working woman. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, David and Juanita Bazemore, and brother Thomas Bazemore. She is survived by her husband David Kent, daughter Amanda Ratliff, son Justin (Lacey) Moody, brothers James (Jessie) Bazemore and Jack (Nancy) Bazemore, and four granddaughters. A memorial service will be held February 13, 2016, at College Park First United Methodist Church, College Park, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sherman Home, 5801 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054. Her light was bright and her smile unforgettable.

To the familiy of Sally Bazemore Kent: I am so very sorry to learn of Sally's death. What a sweet and lovely girl she was when we were at CPHS,. I offer my sincere sympathy to Sally's husband, children and grandchildren. To brothers Jimmy and Jack and their families, you both were always such kind and fun-loving boys when I knew you, and I send you my deepest sympathy. I know you will miss your beautiful little sister, and my prayers are with all of Sally's family.
