Henry Jake Calhoun

SEPTEMBER 14, 1952 – JANUARY 6, 2023

Henry Jake Calhoun, age 70 of Jackson, Georgia passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at his home.

Henry graduated from College Park High School in 1970. On April 21, 1973, he married his high school sweetheart Andrea Calhoun. After working many years providing for his family, he retired in 2021. He enjoyed western movies, playing cards, and spending time with his family, particularly his grandson. 

Henry is survived by his wife, Andrea Calhoun; his daughter, Tammy Poss & her husband Wayne Poss of Forsyth, Georgia; his grandson, Tyler Poss. He also leaves behind his brother, Walter Calhoun; sister, Elizabeth Billingsley; and many nieces & nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Olin and Betty Calhoun; as well as one brother, John Calhoun. 

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Henry on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of his life will immediately follow the visitation in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
