Died of lung cancer.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Holland, Selfridge, Daughter, Laura L. Selfridge, Son, Clay S. Selfridge, and Grandchildren, Zach and Mazie Selfridge.

He was the co-owner of the Shamrock Scale Company, in Morristown, TN, and The Hairy Moose Pet Retreat in Gallatin, TN.
