As we go through life one of the things most of us regret (I know I do) is not keeping in touch over the years with friends that we made in our younger years for whatever reasons--moving away, things in our lives that took most of our time, whatever it may be. Alan is one of those people that I definitely wish I had kept in touch with. .He was my best friend in our high school years. He loved baseball as much as, maybe more, than I still do. We used to go to Peter Pan Park and see who could hit the most homers left handed(we were both natural righties). I would win every now and then but he won most of the time.  He was one of the funniest people I've known, always making everyone around him chuckle and laugh out loud. He was a good guy, a great friend. RIP Alan. I look forward to seeing you again one day.
