Robert "Bobby" Franklin Morgan - Class Of 1971

Robert Bobby Franklin Morgan

August 20, 1952  -  February 14, 2026

Robert “Bobby” F. Morgan, age 73, passed away at his home in Little Switzerland on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Bob was born on August 20, 1952, in Fulton County to the late Charlie and Emma Morgan. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three brothers.

Bob will always be remembered as a devoted family man. His family was the center of his world, and he loved them faithfully and wholeheartedly every single day of his life. He took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather, and the time he spent with those he loved meant more to him than anything else. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Beth, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, commitment, and shared memories.

Bob found joy in life’s everyday blessings. While he did not claim to have many hobbies, he did enjoy cooking. Though his family often joked that it was more of a necessity than a pastime, the meals he prepared were another way he showed his love and care for those around him. Whether gathered on the porch or sharing stories over dinner, those moments became cherished family memories.

Bob also found happiness in the places he called home. He treasured his time living in the Golden Isles of Georgia and equally loved the beauty and peace of the mountains of North Carolina. Above all else, Bob’s legacy is one of devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who were blessed to know him.

Those left to cherish Bob’s memory are his wife of 53 years Beth Morgan; his son, Will Morgan (Hannah), of Green Mountain; his siblings, Sandra Green, of College Park GA, Eddie Morgan (Nancy), of Newell AL, and Norman Morgan (Pat), of Georgia; along with his three grandchildren, Anniston Morgan, Norah Morgan, and Gabriel Robert Morgan.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes no services will be held at this time.
