Mrs. Katherine Diane “Kathy” Haisten Cape, age 60 of Griffin, Georgia passed away May 24, 2016. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Alexander and Mary Etta Bryson Haisten. Kathy retired after 27 years with Courtesy Cleaners and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, trips to the mountains and cooking. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Curtis Cape; sons, Richard Lamar (Christi) Lackey of Griffin, Christopher Douglas (Suzanne) Lackey of Loganville; step-sons, Curtis Duane (Kim) Cape, Sr. of Temple, Kevin Mark (Nikki) Cape of Dallas; grandchildren, Lori Beth Cape, Kaylee Danielle Cape, Nicholas Lamar Lackey, Jack Douglas Lackey, Cheryl Cape, Benjamin Lee Lackey, Shannon Cape, Curtis Duane Cape, II, Mackenzie Faith Lackey; great grandson, Colton Anderson; brother, Kenneth (Thelma) Haisten of Covington; sister, Wanda Susan (Greg) Long of McDonough; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 – 11:00 am at Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at1:00 pm. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
