I just learned about Joels Passing.....He and I went all the way through Grammer school SR Young and CPHS..When we were kids and throughout High School were were good friends.....He and I kinda lost contact in 1973... I last seen him at a reunion in 2005 or 06..We spoke of old times growing up in good old CP....A fellow classmate hit the nail right on the head when he found the news of his passing, Joel was a character..It fit him ....I hope he finds the light in everlasting peace, I was glad to have known him..RIP old friend.....Prayers for his family through this rough time.....Gods Blessings Joel!!!
Joel lived on Madison St. a short distance from me. The day he drove a Trans Am to school I thought it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. He was a few years ahead of me but we were in a few wood shop classes together. He was a really funny guy.
Godspeed Joel - you were about the nicest person at CPHS. We both drove the same color firebird - yours was a TA and mine was a Formula 400. You were a very nice person and I am blessed to have had you as a friend back then.
