James Earl Tucker, College Park High School Class of 1950, born June 9, 1932, passed away in Springfield, VA, November 27, 1974, from the effects of a stroke.  He served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam as a fighter pilot (F8's), was a Doctor of Physics, Project Manager of production of the USN F14.  He received many medals during his military career.  He is survived by his wife Sarah Elizabeth Partridge Tucker Ryon, son James Earl Tucker, Jr., daughter Terry Lynn Tucker, and son John Douglas Tucker.
