Louie I. Chance, Jr.

Louie I. Chance, Jr., 86, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021. Louie was married 26 years to Marie Chance. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Louie and Norene Chance on September 28, 1935.

Louie and Marie were longtime residents of Fayetteville, Georgia. Louie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marie; son, Ronnie Chance (Cress); daughters, Donna Patellis (Mike), Becca Monroe-Hardy (Chris) and Mary Beth Beival (Jon). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ellia Chance, Eva Chance, and Isabella Chance.

Louie retired from Delta Airlines after 35 years of service. He was an avid Georgia Tech fan and spent years coaching youth football, basketball, and baseball.

There will be a funeral service at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be prior to service on the same day from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fayetteville, Georgia.

Hate to see you go Louie. We have collected a lot of retirement from Big Delta. Maybe I will I can still get a few more bucks from Delta.

Don Stockton (1953)

The loss of some classmates hits harder than others.  Louie was one of my best friends in high school.
