Two careers: Ph.D. University of GA (1968), history professor at Georgia Southwestern (1968-1983); Executive Director of cultural institutions ending as museum director at Reinhardt University. Retired 2018. Retired from job but not profession. Now independent scholar and writer. Happily married to Karen for three decades and enjoying my family. Two books, many articles and winner of the Fleming Literary Competition in 2019. Our last adventure: tall ship cruise in the Gulf of Maine aboard the Victory Chimes. Cherish memories of wonderful time and friends at CPHS.

Coincidences happen. For a decade I managed the Queen of all the shooting plantations in Thomas County- Pebble Hill. And, I finally sold my last quail gun to but my sun a computer. The world turns. Happy Birthday.
