Earned a bachelor's and then a master's degree
Taught for more than 30 years in Atlanta area
Raised and educated 2 children
Enjoyed traveling to Europe several times, Canada
several times, Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon,
China, and New Zealand
School Story:

I remember when a student in Mr. Steuart's math class hid a transistor radio (a new product at the time) in a hollowed out book, and Mr. Steuart went up and down the aisles, trying valiantly but futilely to locate the source of the music that was pouring forth into the classroom. At the time I thought it was one of the funniest events I had ever witnessed. After all my years as a teacher, I still consider it funny from the viewpoint of a student, but not so much from the viewpoint of a teacher.
