My daughter graduated from Georgia State in Atlanta. Lived at home and road public transportation to school. She also brown bagged for lunch. She worked two hours each day for the school to help with costs. I had two in College at that time. We brown bagged at home some. My daughters both graduated and earned their degrees debt free... Believe they call that paying your dues. You were luckey to have a car. Hope all your friends made it all the way and received your degrees. I'm sure you don't me, just thought iwould add.
